Curriculum Vitae: Dr. Herb Phillips

An Orthopaedic surgeon for thirteen years before entering the legal profession, Dr. Phillips focuses his law practice on complex medico-legal issues,medical malpractice, medical device product liability, defective drugs and class action cases. He has considerable expertise in consultations or associations with other law firms, dealing with clients who have complex medico-legal issues involved in their cases.

Dr. Phillips has served in a number of administrative and leadership roles in the medical and legal communities. He has written and spoken extensively on timely topics in health law including Medical Malpractice, Medical Device Product Liability, Surgical Procedure Patents, The Medical Expert Witness Programs, Tort Reform, Outcome Studies, and Evidence Based Medicine.
